I used this soap on my hair a few times when my hair was longer so I decided to revisit it again. I grated a small amount of the soap into a glass jar and dissolved it in a small amount of boiling water. Once the mixture had cooled down I poured it into a plastic bottle.
The soap mixture created a lovely lather when I washed my hair and it left my scalp feeling clean and clarified. As the ph of the mixture was neutral (ph7) I followed up with an acidic conditioner (ph4). The mixture is a bit too drying to use everyday so I will probably save it for the times that I need to deep clean my hair before a protein treatment.
