Boots Curl Creme

When my hair was longer I used Boots Curl Creme under my Styling Balm to give my Twist Out more hold. I liked the combination of the Curl Creme and my Styling Balm so I decided to try it today to see if I could use it in place of a gel. I moisturised my hair with Peppermint Water, then I applied my Growth Pomade to my hair.

I applied the Curl Creme on top of my Growth Pomade then I sealed in the moisture with my Styling Balm. I wrapped my hair with a scarf and allowed it to dry. The Curl Creme left a white residue on my scalp so I applied a light oil to my hair to get rid of the residue. I got a decent hold so I'll probably revisit the Curl Creme for a wet set when my hair is longer.

I like the fact that the Curl Creme doesn't contain glycerin because humectants like glycerin make my wet sets frizz out. However, as my hair is super short I'm not concerned about frizz so I don't need to avoid glycerin for the time being.
