Tomorrow will be three weeks since I shaved off my hair and my strands are still coming in nicely. As I wash my hair regularly I decided to do a protein treatment to protect them from damage. I normally make my own protein treatments but my mum bought Hamed Saloon Protein Hair Treatment Cream from a lady who had purchased it in Dubai and she hadn't been using it so I decided to give it a try.
The treatment contains Hydrolyzed Keratin which is able to build up in the hair shaft so I felt that it work well on my fine to medium hair.
I followed the instructions and left the treatment on for five minutes. As my scalp is still exposed I didn't want to risk irritation by leaving the treatment on for longer than the reccommended time. As I don't have much hair I'm not able to say whether the treatment detangles well, but it did feel soft on my scalp. After rinsing the protein treatment out, I conditioned my hair with a moisturising protein-free conditioner. I didn't notice any adverse effects from the protein treatment so I would definitely use it again once my hair is longer.
