My sister told me that Aunt Jackie's Don't Shrink Flaxseed Elongating Curling Gel gives her a soft hold with good moisture retention so I decided to see if it would define my coils. I applied a leave in conditioner and oil to my freshly washed and conditioned hair then I split my hair into two sections so I could compare Aunt Jackie's Don't Shrink with homemade flaxseed gel. Aunt Jackie's Don't Shrink defined a few coils at the front but the definition wasn't very noticeable.
I was ready to give up on trying to define my coils so I applied a buttercreme on top of the products to soften my hair and get rid of the gel cast. After applying the buttercreme I noticed some coil definition on the Aunt Jackie's Don't Shrink side. I'm really impressed with these accidental coils because they look like finger coils. I plan to see what my coils look like when I use Aunt Jackie's Don't Shrink on top of the buttercreme.
