Hi there, my name is Dola "D-Rootz" Akinola and I have tightly coiled afro textured hair. My mother chemically processed my hair when I was a child and I continued to relax my hair in my teens. My last relaxer was on 30th June 2002 when I was 20. I've experimented with various styles over the years but my biggest concern is my low density. I've always had thin hair but it's starting to get thinner with age. I shaved my hair bald on 11th April 2020 and I've been documenting my hair journey on this blog.
