After shampooing and conditioning my hair, I misted my towel dried hair with distilled water before applying my homemade conditioning balm to strengthen my hair. I followed that up with S-CURL Lite Curl Activator Jel to moisturise my hair then I sealed in the moisture with a light growth stimulating oil blend. It wasn't easy for me to get the oil onto my scalp because of the stickiness of the jel so I placed a plastic cap over my head for 5 minutes to help the oils to penetrate into my scalp. Although there isn't much definition I like the results so I plan to continue using the shower cap technique.
