I enjoyed washing my hair everyday but the weather is getting cold and walking around with damp hair was making me feel even colder. Yesterday I placed my hair in two strand twists with the intention of wearing my hair in a Twist Out. I started with freshly washed and deep conditioned hair then I applied my homemade leave in conditioner followed by my homemade conditioning balm. I wrapped my hair with a satin headscarf and went out to run some errands. By the time I got home my hair was already dry. I twisted my hair with Boots Curl Creme and a light hair oil. As my hair is very short I had to do small sections so it took over two hours.
After my hair had dried I unravelled one twist at the front to see what my hair would look like in a Twist Out at this length. My hair was soft and shiny but I knew that the style would only last a couple of days. I decided to keep the two strand twists in my hair as a protective style.
